We are excited to announce the arrival of our new Teddy Keepsake Card range

anniversary birthday card gift greetings cards personalised gifts special occasion

I am so pleased to share with you, my exciting new products, my personalised handmade keepsake cards.
I came across this idea completely by accident when a customer asked if I made matching cards to my Keepsake gifts. I had a play around with a couple of ideas and I was thrilled with the finished results.
The idea is that this is not just a card, but a personalised keepsake and greetings card in one beautiful box.
There are lots of different designs on my website suitable for all occasions, so do check those out.

So why are greetings cards so popular and where did this custom start?
The custom of sending greeting cards can be traced back to the ancient Chinese, who exchanged messages of good will to celebrate the New Year, and to the early Egyptians, who conveyed their greetings on papyrus scrolls.
By the early 15th century, handmade paper greeting cards were being exchanged in Europe.
Giving a greetings card can help you to express every emotion from sympathy, joy, love, humour, to thanks and admiration. Friends and family can touch your life with a card, so to have a gift and card is one is not only unique but really special.

Here are some staggering statistics for you, annual retail sales of greeting cards are estimated at more than $7.5 billion. Nine out of every ten households buy greeting cards each year. The average household buys thirty individual greeting cards a year all of which are discarded and just end up in the bin. Fiddley Diddley keepsake cards will definitely not end up in the dustbin and will be a lasting memento of a special time in someone’s life.
Hope you enjoy browsing our unique collection.
love Lindsey x
